sotanLIFE Overview:Once owned by the prominent Minnesota-born musician Prince, The Quest rivals First Avenue as being the best live music small venue in town. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and classy. The sound is top-notch and Sotans have been coming to The Quest to dance, drink, and rock to local and national acts for years. The Quest’s calendar is filled with dance nights most of the weeks, but they have also booked large bands such as John Mayer, Incubus, Blues Traveler, and many others to perform on the large stage. The dance nights feature internationally known DJs that spin a mix of your favorites and unknown underground beats to keep you moving all night long. The Quest music scene is highlighted by two stages. The Main Stage is where Sotans can jam out on either the floor or balcony to big name acts, while the smaller Ascot Room is where you will find small national acts, local Sotan bands, and acoustic singers and songwriters. Video screens can be found throughout the establishment, so those at the bar can get a glimpse of the stage while they are ordering up a drink. Keep your eyes peeled so you’ll be first in line to get tickets when your favorite group books a gig at The Quest.
